Its a new blog for you. It is Construction season and i am a construction flagger, There is a serious problem with most of the drivers i see on the road everyday,.It is a common problem CELL PHONEITIS,I love doing the job that have chosen to do ,.But you people with the CELL PHONES glued to your ears make my job 100% tougher .People have some CONSIDERATION for the people who do construction for a living. Those machines are massive and do not stop on a dime The Big Earth Movers weigh in excess of 55 tons.They cannot see you when you blow past the construction flaggers because you are too busy on your CELL PHONE . I put my life on the line every day i work. I protect my construction crew and my fellow flaggers and finally John and Jane Q Public who drive and cross the streets that i work on. I dont want to be a hood ornament that is very painful. Please dont make me jump onto your hood with my FLAGGER SIGN in your face because i will. Have some courtesy give a honk or a wave,give us a little bit of your time and patience,that is all we ask for. The flaggers are out there for your safety..We dont  want accidents too happen to you when we are dealing with concrete,building roads ,houses whatever construction happens to be going on..People pay attention to your surroundings .The signs are out there to warn you we are in your neighborhoods,on your city streets ,if only for a short time.we are not out to give a hard time.just a job that needs to be done.We  flaggers get all kinds of HAZARDS thrown at us,cigarettes,cursing,the finger,cars and trucks hitting us,and death to us because idiots with CELL PHONEITIS,or DRUNK DRIVERS not paying attention to the conditions, people slow down.I am out there on your city streets,.We in the construction business have to deal with all kinds of adverse weather along with stupid people with a CELL PHONE TO THEIR EARS or OTHER DISTRACTIONS. ,. Thank you for the time, sometimes offer a cold bottle of water to us on a hot day.To all the construction workers this one is for you.Be safe and i will protect you to the best of my abilities with my sign.....have a good day

I checked the credit union under their scam alert section and found out their real checks have a green background with their email address and full address top left corner

i was told by the local F B I office in Denver that the state of Colorado has been hit with an excessive amount of fraud checks ,this one in particular over 100,000 were sent out

if you get one of these checks complete with a letter with all the above information contact

the Federal Trade Commission 1-877-382-4357 or email them ftc.gov with all the information

do the research on the homeboard and call the bank to verify

save yourself the problems of trying to cash these checks

hooray the girl scout cookies are out and for sale,love the thin mints and the tagalongs ,my personal piece of heaven,i look forward to these cookies every year,the girls that sold me mine,last night at the store where i was shopping ,informed me they would be out until sometime in march,so get them while you can,if you wait ,too late,until next year,my store was very busy for a friday and these two scouts were not having to say a word or screaming at the top of their voices,the cookies were going fast,i saw one lady go with 2 boxes of each kind of cookie the scouts had and at $3.25 per box that is a nice little profit,i say you go girl scouts and keep putting out the great cookies ,you have my vote

  today a friend of mine had a new suggestion for me,something called Data Network Affiliates,has not even been open to the public yet,it is a data gathering info type of deal,need at least 10 people,in a binary matrix system,all we do is get license numbers,the date ,and location of the tag,input info and get paid for it,free to sign up with options ,if anyone has any possible info on this ,please let me know,i checked with the pc investigators nothing came up so we will see,,later

yay ,snow ,today a gentle snow is falling in denver ,it has been a month,with no moisture,it is quiet and peaceful this sunday afternoon,the roofs are covered,the ground is not frozen and the snow melts as soon as it lands on the cncrete and pavement,just a peaceful day.

2nd verse of suckers are us,ALERT,WARNING,BEWARE,BEEP,BEEP,new scam alert,i received a letter with a check from International Lawyers Network told me to put check in bank and hold until i received a bigger check for a lot of money that i had won in some sort of contest.The letter was from Vancouver BC and the lawyers are in New Jersey complete with real people and real phone numbers for more details,i checked the the net .the real ILN has a real website complete with a disclaimer running down the side of page. I took my copy of letter and the printout to Attorney General in Denver they gave the number for the New Jersey people who handle problems like this,then i went to my bank,i hope i got it stopped in time,.If you get one of these ,turn it in,it could save a lot of money and alot of trouble,YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

 i received my food stamp card today,yeah dont have to go food banking next week,i get to go do some shopping for the staples,bread ,milk eggs ,munchies but no deli food,thats all right,should tide hotrod hubby and i over until next month .good thing too ,squirts cupboard is running on empty,yeah for the food stamp card .it could not have come at a better time. Until later.

todays tidbits,one of those days..have you ever had one ?mine was today . it started when i got up.thought it was going to be a beaut.wrong.ate breakfast started having the droppsies,spoon,bowl etc,next stop shower,soap,washcloth all on the tub floor,getting dressed,oops there they go ,you quessed it .floor time,.heading out the doorgot half way to destination,forgot keys ,phone,butpack,major bummer,met up with hotrod hubby got his keys ,turned around back home i went.putzed around house and some lunch .went back to destination,long line of people ahead,turned around again ,all in all not a good day and nothing gained except two very sore legs about 20 miles of back and forth up and down denver hills .yep its one of those days.until next time

hi guys ,new tidbit,,i love peaceful saturdays when there is nothing going and dont have to be in a hurry.Time to enjoy oneself and enjoy breathing the cold rocky mountain air in the winter like today.just enough of a chill to blush your cheeks and turn the nose red without alcohol.its a great day to be alive.its also a good day to catch up with good friendsor a good book.spending time with the kids or pets if you have em.///all for now

here's todays tidbit,went out for a withdrawl at the food banks.good stuff sometimes ,other not so good.i'll take the good stuff and trade with my neighbors for the not so good.came back with 3 black walmart bags full of goodies.veggies,soups,fresh donuts and crunch n munch,quite alot of keepers this time including captain crunch peanut butter cereal yum.i dont mind going food banking.it helps to stretch the food and can make several meals or create something different for left overs////later

Hi Guys todays tidbit, The unemployment blues, I went to uneployment office today.had to go back twice ,am the line was humongus over 500 people.went back after lunch,had to wait to get a number,talked to alot of people who had been waiting since early am to get their payments/questions taken care of,i waited for almost 5 hours with a good book and headphones,what a bummer ,some ray of hope i do get a small payment but got to sign up again next month,lucly next time i can sign up online lucky me.hope no more unemployment blues.Until the next adventure .have a goodun

empty sunday streets are kind of peaceful after watching all the hustle and bustle of the week.No bronco traffic oh to bad so sad,.No rockies traffic to early in the year,not alot of traffic just your typical sunday drivers going to church or a nice lunch.kids going to the nearby park,some with their dogs for a good game of fetch or frisbee chasing all happening on a nice quite sunday afternoon.hardly any traffic except for the public transportation a few taxis .and a few people walking around.

today i went for a potential job interview standing outside a collage holding a sign advertising for one of the bookstores inside collage. The lady in charge did not disclose that she is only taking names and numbers complete with a handshake like a cold dead fish.NOT KIDDING.anyway we had agreed to meet early this morning not knowing the store did not even open until 9am. I got to thinking[yeah i know scary and dangerous thought]here we go again i have a BIG BLACK WORD ON MY FORHEAD_____SUCKER///// .I went home and asked hotrod hubby if there is any thing wrote on head he did not see anything. Questin for you does anybody know where suckers are us is located ?I want to buy the entire stock and share with all the SUCKERS ARE US

 Art is all around us.whether looking at cool looking houses,buildings like the Denver Art Museum new Building. Walking in your neighborhood. Check it out sometime. People can be art too.For instance ,the outfits,Tattoos as body art,i have seen alot of cool tats and talked to the people about them. Lots of really cool looking cars,trucks,motorcycles,and even semi trucks,and some of the buses with public transportation becomes rolling art.Art is anywhere you happen to be.
